One of the higher-end models in the Lexmark MX series, the Lexmark MX812DXPE boasts excellent productivity and reliability, making it the suitable choice for large offices. It prints, copies, scans, and has fax and email functions, ideal for those who require an all-around document production centre. The Lexmark MX812DXPE features a large, expandable memory. It has a touch screen display for easy navigation. However, the unit doesn't support colour production, putting it behind similar units that do offer colour printing.

Design

Built for heavy-duty work, the Lexmark MX812DXPE is a robust 1374x663x734 mm. it has expandable paper input capacity up to 2,750 sheets. The device features a 1 GB memory and a 320 GB hard disk. It uses monochrome laser printing technology, but supports colour scanning through its flat bed unit, which also doubles as a digital copier. The Lexmark MX812DXPE even has a large touch screen display for swift navigation.

Advantages

Ideal for busy workgroups, the Lexmark MX812DXPE boasts print rates up to 66 ppm. It supports duplex printing and scanning, which allows users to save on paper consumption and save time on scanning/copying multi-page documents. The device produces high-resolution prints up to 1200x1200 dpi and even up to 2400 dpi. The device has an automatic document feeder, with an input capacity of up to 150 pages.

Disadvantages

Built for heavy-duty work, the Lexmark MX812DXPE is an ideal addition to any workgroup. However, it does not support colour production, which means prints are limited to black and white documents.
