The Lexmark XC9245 is a colour laser multifunction printer which can also be used to fulfil all the copying, scanning and faxing needs of a medium to large workplace. It will produce a wide range of official documentation, from marketing materials to letters, reports and more. When a department needs to use media other than plain paper, it can manage banner paper, envelopes and card stock, as well as labels. The high-performance level of this printer is enabled through a 1.2 GHz quad core processor and 2GB of built-in memory, which can be expanded to 4GB.

Design

This unit measures 36.2 x 24.2 x 27.4 inches and weighs 239lb. Its 10-inch colour touch screen interface allows users to navigate their way through the various apps and features intuitively. As it works like a smart device with swipes and taps, it takes staff very little time to pick up the controls. The maximum monthly page yield is 225,000, although this printer is designed to be very energy efficient and has been awarded Energy Star certification. To safeguard any data held on the business or clients, the hard drive is encrypted and the keys are stored in the printer’s memory.
