The Lexmark XM3150h is a multifunction monochrome printer, scanner, copier and emailing unit which is ideal for larger workgroups. It will deliver high volumes of letters, documents and reports to a professional standard. The compatible media includes envelopes, card stock and labels, along with a range of paper sizes. It is driven by a dual-core 800 MHz processor and comes with 1024MB of memory as standard, although this can be upgraded to 3072MB. A hard disk option is available. In terms of paper management, there is a 550-sheet input tray, supported by a 100-sheet multipurpose feeder, and a 250-sheet output bin.
Design
This compact printer measures 22 x 19.2 x 18.8 inches and weighs 52lb. It is easy to move around the office as required, and with such a small footprint, it can be positioned on a desk. Despite producing a maximum of 175,000 pages per month as part of its duty cycle, this is an Energy Star certified machine and it has a sleep feature to save on power. Mobile users can download a range of Lexmark software for editing work on the go and there is a 7-inch colour touchscreen to simplify organising the workload. The Lexmark XM3150h offers short cuts for sending faxes, scanning and emailing, as well as other useful functions.
Advantages
The Lexmark XM3150h is an adaptable unit which is compatible with various operating systems, including those of Microsoft, Linux and Apple. It can reach speeds of up to 47 ppm and the time to the first page is 6.5 seconds. The maximum print resolution is 1200 x 1200 dpi, with a scan image quality of 600 x 600 dpi. The duplexing function is fully integrated, so double-sided copies can be created at the touch of a button and duplexing speeds can reach up to 20 sides of A4 per minute.
