The Ricoh Aficio MPC2051AD colour multifunction printer is aimed at small to medium-sized offices and growing businesses that require a fast, reliable, and versatile device that can produce high quality documents in colour or black-and-white. The Ricoh MPC2051AD laser printer is easier to operate with a large colour display screen and an automatic document feeder as a standard, yet it is quite expensive and heavy.

Design

The Ricoh Aficio MPC2051AD printer is a 100Kg device running on 1536MB of internal memory and a 600MHz Intel Celeron M processor. A 160GB hard disk drive is integrated for data storage and advanced security features. As a freestanding device, the Aficio MP C2051AD colour MFP does not take up excessive space in a small or cramped office building. The centrepiece of this all-in-one is the control panel with the colour display screen, though the Aficio MP C2051AD colour laser printer also manages to stand out with the ADF on top of the flatbed scanner.

Advantages

This model offers versatile connectivity and can integrate Wi-Fi, too. Up to 1,600 sheets can be loaded into the Ricoh Aficio MPC2051AD copier. The scanner's maximum resolution is 1200x1200dpi, so images look clearer and sharper. The animated and intuitive display screen means user-friendly operation. The Ricoh Aficio MPC2051AD colour printer can directly print from a USB key. The auto-duplexer works with the copier and scanner, too. Ricoh Aficio MPC2051AD printer cartridges have a large capacity of toner and deliver a low cost-per-page.

Disadvantages

The Aficio MPC2051AD multifunction printer is an expensive multifunction device and some features may not be necessary for a small, start-up business. Print speed is slow at 20ppm. Users might have difficulty with scanning of thicker objects. The busy control panel of the Ricoh MPC2051AD all-in-one could be overwhelming and intimidating to operate. Fax is only optional.
