This easily upgradeable colour multifunction copier is among the latest in the Ricoh Aficio line. It is aimed at large and growing work groups that need a user-friendly device with a wide set of features, including the built-in duplexer and a searchable PDF function. The Ricoh Aficio MPC3003SP is a fast and excellent printer, but the initial price and upgrades can be expensive for the budget-conscious.

Design

It looks understated with a matte frame and a universal design, but the nine-inch touch panel adds a tech-savvy touch to its overall appearance. It weighs 93.2Kg and measures 587mm wide, 913mm tall, and 685mm deep, making the base unit compact and helpful in saving space. The Ricoh Aficio MPC3003SP runs on 1.5GB of memory and there is a 250GB hard disk drive.

Advantages

The Ricoh Aficio MPC3003SP warms up fast, and its print speeds can reach up to 30ppm in colour and monochrome. There are built-in security features and it is easy to search scanned PDF files from the hard disk drive. It is energy efficient and improves productivity with two-sided printing and a range of finishing options. The Ricoh Aficio MPC3003SP is easily upgradeable and expandable. Built-in security features protect privacy, control usage, and secure sensitive data. The maximum paper capacity is 4,700 sheets.

Disadvantages

It can be expensive to upgrade the Ricoh Aficio MPC3003SP. The ADF handle, fax, internal finisher, booklet finisher, punch kit, and Bluetooth are optional. The Ricoh Aficio MPC3003SP is expensive to run.
