A reliable colour laser printer suitable for desktop use, the Ricoh Aficio SPC220S makes scanning, copying, and printing tasks a lot easier for workgroups, increasing productivity and efficiency especially in shared printer environments. The Aficio SPC220S by Ricoh offers decent print speeds at 16 ppm (colour and black and white pages). First copies/printed pages come out in as fast as 30 seconds. Connectivity options for the Ricoh Aficio SPC220S include high-speed USB and built-in Ethernet for networking. It is compatible with most Mac and Windows operating systems, although customers find the scan function complicated and the operation a bit noisy.

Design

The Ricoh Aficio SPC220S colour laser printer measures a sleek 16.54x19.41x17.28 inches, making it a good choice for a desktop unit. It features a flatbed scanner mounted right on top of the unit, while users can access controls for fax, print, scan, and copy functions all through the front panel, where a tiny LCD screen can be found for toggling through menus. The Ricoh Aficio SPC220S multifunction printer features a 250-sheet input tray and runs on a 256 MB RAM.
