The Ricoh MP C3504ASP is a good multifunctional printer that would fit in well at most mid-sized offices or workgroups. Ricoh have attempted to merge all the features and functions that users tend to find the most useful and necessary in the workplace, which is what makes this machine such a great, versatile addition. With printing, scanning and copying all available from one machine, fast print speeds and high quality results, including a print resolution of 1200 x 1200dpi, this is a well-rounded, multipurpose printer that’s sure to fit your office’s needs.

Design

In terms of design features, there’s very little to recommend this printer over any other high yield machine designed for the mid-sized office market, but it does come with an excellent 10.1in colour touchscreen as standard. This intuitive control panel makes moving between functions and making use of the Ricoh MP C3504ASP’s many functions even easier, and its large size makes it even more intuitive. Anyone used to using a smartphone or tablet should find this familiar and simple to naster. The printer measures 26.3 x 29.1 x 47.5in and weighs approximately 101kg.

Advantages

This Ricoh C3504ASP multifunctional printer has a bounty of advantages, including its print speeds which reach up to 35ppm in black and white and colour, with a warm up time of just 25 seconds as well as first page print speed of 7.1 seconds for colour printing and 4.6 seconds in black and white. The Ricoh MP C3504ASP also has a motion activated sleep mode sensor that wakes up the machine in just a second and has a scanning rate of 180 images per minute when scanning from the single pass document feeder. You can also produce professional grade banners straight from this printer.

Disadvantages

It’s a shame that fax and PostScript capabilities are only available as an optional extra with the Ricoh MP C3504ASP model.
