The Ricoh MP C6004SP printer is a professional multi functional printer that doesn’t sacrifice on quality in order to deliver high yield printing at speed. It is network ready with gigabit Ethernet, and also has a wireless LAN option, as well as 2GB memory and a 320GB secure hard drive. It comes with the distinctive Ricoh Smart Operation Panel which offers easy use and an integrated system that can help make your workplace even more efficient.

Design

The Ricoh MP C6004SP printer measure roughly 587 x 685 x 963mm and weighs an approximate 103.4kg. The Smart Operation Panel has a 10.1-inch screen, making it highly visible and easy to use. It functions in much the same way as a smartphone or tablet, with touchscreen capabilities and web browser access, meaning you can print directly from emails or websites. There is a single pass document feeder, and integral duplex for when you need to print double sided.

Advantages

There are many advantages to the Ricoh MPC6004SP not least of which is its 60ppm and 1,200 x 1,200 dpi resolution. It also has a monthly average volume of 12,000 with a maximum of 50,000, a copier resolution of 600 dpi, and scanner speed of 110 originals per minute, increased to 180 per minute if duplex. Using the Ricoh Scan Free app, users can also print straight from their smartphone or tablet, once again increasing efficiency. The machine can also scan to email, folder, URL, SMB, FTP, PDF and SD card. There is also a USB/SD card reader integrated into the printer, so that you can choose to print directly from your flash drive or SD card.

Disadvantages

The Ricoh MP C6004SP printer is ideal for large offices where high yield printing is the norm, and quality a must. Smaller offices will probably find this machine too large for their needs, however.
