Samsung ML-5510ND Printer Review

Expert review of the Samsung ML-5510ND printer

Our Verdict:

The Samsung ML-5510ND mono laser printer keeps things simple and compact without compromising function and quality. It is a powerful laser printer that is highly configurable to accommodate the needs of unique workgroups. The Samsung ML5510ND prints at a fast rate of 52 pages per minute, providing businesses with the productivity and performance required in a fast paced work setting. It offers many upgradeable features that don't cost as much to purchase and is very economical. However, the ML-5510ND black and white laser printer only prints monochrome pages.

The Samsung ML-5510ND printer measures only about 46.4x54x42 cm without the extra paper trays and additional components like the automatic duplexer. Even in its standard configuration, it offers large enough paper capacity (520 sheets in the main tray, and another 100 sheets in the multipurpose tray). The Samsung ML 5510ND has a small LCD display right beside the control buttons, indicating printer and toner status. In addition to the duplexer, this model offers economical features like energy save and eco modes, which generally help reduce running costs.

Simplicity is the main edge of the Samsung ML-5510ND mono printer. It is an excellent dedicated printer that offers professional quality and very fast speeds. The sppedy Samsung ML5510ND printer may not have all the extra features that multifunction units do, but it does its job well, averaging 52 prints per minute. Additionally, this model is highly customisable to satisfy the needs of any office. Other advantages include the unit's space efficiency, time and cost saving features, and upgrade options. This productive device has long-life Samsung ML-5510ND toner cartridges with the largest capacity being 40,000 pages.

The only disadvantage of the Samsung ML-5510ND is its inability to print coloured pages, putting it behind laser printers that offer the same print rates while also supporting colour printing.
