Design

The Samsung A3 multifunction SMART MX4 series X4250LX laser printer has a duty cycle of up to 110,000 pages a month and is ideal for low to medium print volume environments. Without any extra paper cassettes, the MultiXpress MX4 X4250LX printer measures 566 x 610 x 879 millimetres and is compact enough to fit in corners or other convenient locations. USB and Ethernet ports are built in and adding a wireless server gives the option of NFC connectivity. Standard input capacity of 1,040 pages can be doubled by adding two 520-page cassettes. There’s a also a 100-page multipurpose feeder for the likes of labels, cardstock and an auto-feed.

Advantages

The adjustable 10.1 inch touchscreen display is a highlight of the Samsung SMART MX4 X4250LX multifunction printer and gives the operator full control. The duplexing mechanism ensures creating twin-sided prints is straightforward and keeps carbon footprints low. Initial print times from ready are 9.5 seconds and 25 pages per minute for both colour and black thereafter. The ADF on the Samsung X4250LX colour printer has a 100-sheet capacity and is useful for longer scan, fax and copy runs.

Disadvantages

The Samsung MultiXpress MX4 X4250LX colour laser MFP doesn’t support printing from USB memory sticks.
