The Samsung Xpress M2026 is a black and white (monochrome) laser printer boasting a relatively fast speed of 20 ppm. It is a good value choice for average printing requirements. However, unlike other models in Samsung’s Xpress line, the M2026 is not NFC enabled and does not support Wi-Fi connectivity.
Design
The Samsung Xpress M2026 is integrated with the brand’s One Touch Screen Print technology. The Print Screen button is conveniently located on the device’s control panel, enabling users to print whatever is on their screens quickly. The paper tray can hold 150 sheets—quite impressive for a printer of this size. All essential accessories come with the package, including the toner cartridge, setup guide, power cable, and software CD-ROM. The Samsung Xpress M2026 measures 17.8cm x 33.1cm x 21.5cm (HDW).
Advantages
Designed for busy small offices and home offices, the Samsung Xpress M2026 laser printer is known for its fast speed and minimal noise. This monochrome printer can produce 20 pages per minute, so tacking large print jobs is easier. At Ready Mode, the M2026 starts printing in just 8.5 seconds. The 8 MB memory and 400 MHz processor allows users to print detailed files. The Eco Driver keeps printing and energy costs to a minimum. The Samsung Xpress M2026 is Energy Star qualified.
Disadvantages
Unlike most other models in the Samsung Xpress line, the M2026 does not support NFS capabilities—which means it cannot print directly from smartphones. This particular device also doesn’t have Wi-Fi, which is a deal breaker for some users.
