Xerox’s AltaLink series of printers have been designed specifically for larger office and workgroups with high levels of productivity. With a print speed of 90ppm and a monthly duty cycle of up to 400,000 pages, the Xerox AltaLink B8090 is more than prepared to deal with the daily needs and high speeds of a fast-moving, high-yield workplace. The AltaLink multifunction printers are also designed for the functions of a thoroughly modern workplace, with an impressive 250GB hard drive, 4GB of memory and a 1.8GHz processor, which all go into helping the Xerox AltaLink B8090 stay on top of its heavy workload.
Design
The Xerox AltaLink B8090 is designed for ultimate configuration, which means that you can scale up or down according to your office’s needs. The base configurations of the machine are roughly 850mm x 665mm x 1,150mm, with a weight of approximately 113kg. The actual size of this MFP will depend on your choice of finishing options, however, and it could have a larger overall footprint. Finishing options include but are not limited to a High Capacity Feeder, envelope tray, hole punch for office finisher, z fold/c fold finisher and convenience stapler. This MFP also comes with a 10.1” colour touchscreen control and display panel that works much in the same way as a tablet or smartphone.
Advantages
One of the main advantages of the Xerox AltaLink B8090 is its connectivity, which will help future-proof any office. Utilising Xerox ConnectKey technology, this MFP allows for printing straight from the cloud, and also comes with McAfee software already installed for extra security. In terms of productivity and speed, you can’t go wrong with the Xerox AltaLink B8090. Not only does the average print speed reach up to 90ppm, but there is also a first printout speed of 4.9 seconds, a first time copy speed of 4.9 seconds, as well as a copy resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and a print resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi.
