Our Verdict:

Designed with high levels of productivity in mind, as well as the need for better connectivity and great results, the Xerox AltaLink C8030 is perfect for larger offices and workspaces. With a larger footprint and high running cost, it’s not the best bet for smaller endeavours, but large workgroups and busy offices will find it indispensable, especially as it offers colour printing. With a print speed of up to 30 ppm for both black and white; and colour, a first page print speed of 5.3 seconds in monochrome and a monthly print volume of up to 12,000 pages, this is the machine for busy workplaces everywhere.

Design

A simple off-white and petrol blue design means that the Xerox AltaLink C8030 is likely to complement and blend in with almost any office décor choices. The unit includes a variety of scalable and finishing options, which means that the dimensions of each individual machine is likely to differ, but the base configuration is 640 x 173.8 x 1114 mm with a base weight of 151.9 kg. The MFP’s best design feature is perhaps its 10.1 inch touchscreen control panel, which works very much like a smartphone or tablet, with intuitive technology and a customisable home screen.

Advantages

The main advantages of the Xerox AltaLink C8030 are its speed, productivity and high-quality results.
