With a wide variety of functions, a powerful processor and fast writing and copying speeds, the Xerox AltaLink C8055 is a four-in-one machine designed for medium to large offices looking for both colour and black and white capabilities. Incorporating copying, scanning, printing and email functions, as well as optional finishing and faxing extra, the machine is an all-inclusive device. The machine includes multiple paper storage trays and a single-pass duplex automatic document feeder for maximum paper storage and minimal user handling. The professional device can create professional results with image quality of up to 600 x 600 dpi for copying and up to 1200 x 2400 dpi for printing. Users can easily connect to mobile devices, computer desk tops, external hard-drives and clouding storage systems with ConnectKey technology, and USB and Ethernet LAN cables featured in the machine.

Design

The self-standing machine measures 25 x 45 x 27 and includes a wheeled base, which makes it easy to move around the office. The Xerox C8055 has a total paper storage capacity of up to 4700 sheets held within 4 trays including a 100-sheet bypass tray. This speedy model promises to process up to 50 pages per minute in colour and 55 pages per minute in black and white, with a total monthly duty cycle of up to 300,000 sheets.

Advantages

Speed and processing power are highlights of the Xerox AltaLink C8055. The device is a powerful model, with a higher page per minute speed than many similar machines, a large hard-drive and large memory capacity. The technological features are also a plus for this machine, and include cloud sharing capacity, added security functions and fast Wi-Fi connections.

Disadvantages

This machine is not for everyone. The power and bulk of the Xerox C8055 is only recommended for medium to large businesses. Smaller workplaces and home offices will most likely not require the variety of functions and processing capability.
