The Xerox B205 offers the perfect solution for all home offices or smaller work environments, being efficient for both the company budget and the environment. The printer can save on energy, paper and waste with its automatic double-sided printing, and also offers a number of power management options intended to help operators make use of less energy with its standard performance. The printer also comes with a low-power mode which activates when the device is not being used.
Design
The dimensions of the printer are calculated to be 401 x 362 x 365.1mm (width x depth x height). The total weight of the Xerox B205 is approximately 10.97kg. The input tray is capable of holding 250 sheets, with a paper weight of up to 163 grams per square metre. The presence of a 2-line LCD screen display is user-friendly and offers an accessible experience to printing operations. USB and network connections are built-in along with Wi-Fi and wireless to allow printing from any mobile device that is connected, making connectivity extremely simple.
Advantages
The Xerox B205 can print up to as many as 30 pages per minute in black and white, with 8.5 seconds per page print speed and an impressive print resolution of up to as high as 1,200 x 1,200 DPI. Copy resolution can be as high as 600 x 600 DPI, and the scanning resolution is 1,200 x 1,200 DPI, or even a stunning 4,800 x 4,800 DPI after enhancement. The printer is compatible with Mac, Linux and Windows, and makes secure printing a priority by being able to offer AirPrint, Mopria, Android and Google Cloud Print whether printing from a desktop, laptop or mobile device.
