The compact Xerox Phaser 6500DN is a superb laser printer delivering high-quality output, from black and white text to vibrant coloured graphics. It has a duty cycle of 40,000 pages and features an automatic duplexer to help offices save money. The Phaser 6500DN printer also has built-in Ethernet to make networking easy. The only trouble with the Xerox 6500DN is potentially high running costs as the machine uses four separate colour toner cartridges.

Design

The Xerox Phaser 6500DN colour printer comes in a cube-like form with dimensions of 16.4 x 15.9 x 16.75 inches. It weighs 40 pounds and has a maximum paper handling capacity of 251 sheets. The control panel is organised and comes with a monochrome LCD display. The Xerox Phaser 6500DN colour laser printer has 400 MHz processor speed and has memory of 256 MB that can be expanded up to 768 MB. Print speed can go as fast as 24 ppm for both black and white and coloured prints.

Advantages

To help reduce paper waste, the Xerox Phaser 6500DN has a built-in automatic duplexer. The Phaser 6500DN printer can also save time, thanks to its large paper handling capacity. Fortunately, the Xerox Phaser 6500DN is the ideal device for workgroups and productive offices, thanks to its Ethernet connection.

Disadvantages

The Phaser 6500DN laser printer does not support Wi-Fi and lacks memory card slots and a USB port. The Xerox 6500DN Phaser is also quite expensive to run and maintain.
