Designed for large offices with high-volume printing needs, the Xerox WorkCentre 7855 colour multifunction printer is able to deliver 300,000 pages per month. This multifunction device is able to deliver high-quality prints, scans, copies, and faxes. The Xerox WorkCentre 7855 laser printer can be upgraded to offer walk-up fax machine. This model has a maximum resolution of 2,400 x 1,200 dpi for prints and 600 x 600 dpi for copies. Wireless LAN connectivity is optional.

Design

The compact Xerox WorkCentre 7855 MFP comes with a large colour touchscreen display on its control panel along with a numeric keypad and function buttons. This unit has a flatbed scanner and a duplex automatic document feeder. Optional trays are available to increase the paper handling capacity of the Xerox WorkCentre 7855 printer to more than 3,000 pages. Print speed can go as fast as 50 ppm with the first page out in 7.1 seconds for coloured and 55 ppm with the first page out in 5.9 seconds for black and white.

Advantages

Aside from being very quick, the WorkCentre 7855 colour laser printer is also reliable. This model can deliver thousands of pages and output will be consistent and professional. Workgroups can easily share the Xerox WorkCentre 7855 as it has standard Ethernet connectivity and works on most operating systems. Some of the handy features of the Xerox 7855 multifunction printer include a duplexer for double sided printing and a USB host for direct scanning and printing. This machine is the perfect solution for any business that needs attention grabbing colour documents such as booklets or brochures. Xerox 7855 print cartridges contain a large amount of high quality toner to handle large volume colour jobs more cost-effectively.

Disadvantages

Expect the tabloid-size Xerox WorkCentre 7855 colour printer to come with a large price tag. This model is not a sensible choice for a budget-conscious office. The Xerox 7855 colour MFP also has costly optional items such as paper trays, finishers, wireless LAN connectivity, and walk-up fax.
