Sadly, both cartridges were not recognised by my printer when I inserted them - evidently a chip problem because the empty cartridge registered, as did the Canon originals when they were delivered the next day. A refund was made, together with a 10% discount for the Canon cartridges, which I was more or less obliged to use as they could not guarantee that their own brand replacements would be from a different batch. Consequently, despite the 10% discount, I paid considerably more that I was hoping to. The email exchanges, whilst polite and prompt, were a little protracted.
