    Canon PGI-9GY ink technology

    No, this original Canon PGI-9GY cartridge contains LUCIA ink which is a patented ink technology so only genuine Canon ink cartridges have this type of ink. Unfortunately, we don't currently stock a cheaper compatible PGI-9GY ink cartridge.

  • When you give an estimate of the number of sheets / photos covered by each cartridge, what size media are you estimating this on?

    Ink yield guidelines

    The majority of cartridges that are listed on our website will give you an estimated page yield which is based on printing at 5% coverage for an A4 sheet. Some cartridges, such as this grey Canon PGI-9GY ink cartridge, are designed for photo printing. Therefore, we base the yield on how many 10 x 15cm photos the cartridge can print at 5% coverage.
