Ideal for SOHO-users, the multifunctional Brother MFC-J4420DW inkjet printer boasts excellent features and offers affordable printing. The Brother MFC-J4420DW A3 colour inkjet all-in-one printer has quick printing, scanning, copying, and faxing, although output quality could be a bit clearer. This multifunction unit is easy to operate and can use super high-yield ink cartridges. Maximum print resolution can go as high as 6000 x 1200dpi while print speed can go as fast as 35ppm for monochrome and 27ppm for colour.

Design

The sleek Brother MFC-J4420DW printer has a touch panel with a full colour display. Its Super G3 fax machine has a modem speed of 33.6kbps and can transmit at a speed of 7 seconds per page. For paper handling, the Brother MFC-J4420DW has a 150-sheet paper tray. The Brother MFC-J4420DW A3 colour inkjet all-in-one + duplex, fax, wireless comes with standard Wi-Fi connectivity, a PictBridge port, a USB host and a USB interface.

Advantages

Multiple users can easily share the Brother MFC-J4420DW all-in-one inkjet printer through Wi-Fi and they can also use mobile devices. Print-from and scan-to functions can be done easily on this unit. Thanks to its duplexer and ADF, paper waste is reduced and productivity is improved. The Brother MFCJ4420DW multifunction printer delivers everything from every day documents to photos – it supports borderless printing and even has a PictBridge port for direct printing from digital cameras. For convenience, the Brother MFC-J4420DW colour inkjet printer offers PC-free or standalone copying.

Disadvantages

The Brother MFC-J4420DW doesn’t offer Ethernet connectivity and it has limited paper handling capacity. The MFC J4420DW A3 printer can handle tabloid-sized media but paper feeding is limited to individual sheets. For easier photo printing, the all-in-one MFCJ4420DW colour printer should have an integrated memory card reader.
