Built for personal or small office use, the Canon Pixma MG6450 all-in-one printer with Wi-Fi offers printing, scanning and copying in one compact unit. It is a 5-ink photo printer that offers advanced features, including Wi-Fi and cloud printing from social networks, online albums and cloud storage. The Canon Pixma MG6450 inkjet photo printer is a stylish addition to any desktop and it offers excellent connectivity to handle various data sources. Unfortunately, the Pixma MG-6450 colour inkjet printer lacks fax and network support, making it more suitable for personal use.

Design

The Canon Pixma MG6450 photo all-in-one printer is a sleek all-black unit, suitable for desktop use. It features an automatic duplexer and it uses five separate ink cartridges for cost-effective printing. It has a memory card reader and wireless PictBridge support, and it has Wi-Fi support for direct printing from compatible devices. The Canon Pixma MG6450 multifunction printer features a digital copier, which doubles as a high-resolution scanner. Users can easily install the Canon MG6450 print cartridges and the device can use optional XL ink cartridges if required.

Advantages

Built as a camera companion, the Canon Pixma MG-6450 is an excellent photo printer, featuring a wireless LAN PictBridge for printing pictures directly from compatible wireless cameras and memory cards. The 7.5cm display also makes it easy to preview images and manage camera functions. The Pixma MG6450 all-in-one is also Smartphone-ready and it can be used with Canon's Printing Solutions app, which makes it easier to print from and even scan to various smart devices.

Disadvantages

On the other hand, the all-in-one Canon Pixma MG6450 photo printer does not offer fax support, nor does it have network connectivity, which are often prerequisites for an office device.
