A reliable multifunction from Canon, the Canon Pixma MP960 is practically the same machine as the previous MP950 model, offering the same features. It packs a scanner, printer, and copier all in one compact device. Boasting excellent speed and good quality outputs, it is designed for photo enthusiasts looking for a device that can produce lab quality pictures. The Canon Pixma MP960 is more appropriate in a home environment, as office users may find the lack of faxing capabilities and auto-document feeding frustrating.

Design

The Canon Pixma MP960 uses 7 individual ink tanks, making operation more cost effective. Plus, it has a reliable ink level alert system that lets users know right away when an ink tank is running low. The control panel of the Canon Pixma MP960 features a scroll wheel for easier navigation, and the scanner boasts a panel for scanning negatives and slides.

Advantages

The Canon Pixma MP960 not only has excellent scanning and copying resolution but also an impressive 9600x2400dpi enhanced colour resolution and up to 600x600dpi for black and white outputs. Print speeds are decent, and running cost is not bad (especially for users who only print on occasion).
