Canon Pixma iP110B Ink Cartridges

Design

Measuring 27cm x 16cm x 38cm and weighing just 200g, this portable printer has been designed to fit into a laptop bag for printing on the go. It can connect wirelessly or via an Ethernet. Using the PIXMA Cloud link, it can print directly from the cloud. Download the Canon Print App to print from smart devices. An optional rechargeable battery pack allows printing in any location, even away from mains power. It uses two cartridges; one holds the standard ink colours and the other holds black ink, this vastly improves the photographic quality.

Advantages

The light weight of the Canon Pixma iP-110B allows printing anywhere, and if using the battery pack, it will print around 290 pages per charge. The paper tray is generous for a portable printer, holding up to 50 pages of paper. It is capable of printing both letter and legal-size documents to a good standard, but its real strength is the superb quality of glossy, high-resolution photographs.

Disadvantages

The Canon Pixma iP110B does not include scanning or copying hardware. The ink yield of the cartridges is at the lower end of the scale, so operating costs are more expensive than some other portable printers, and it is advisable to always have spare ink cartridges handy to avoid running out. As the battery is optional, this is another expense for anyone wanting to take advantage of this option.
