The Epson EcoTank ET-7700 offers an effective way to achieve the printing needs of a business or residence at a low cost. Not only does it do the work of three machines, a printer, scanner and copier, it also includes refillable tanks to reduce the amount that will need to be spent on ink. However, this model is larger than other printers with similar performance capabilities.
Design
The Epson EcoTank ET7700 is a fair-sized machine with dimensions of 425x359x161 mm that has a stylish, modern appearance. It is designed to be used digitally via Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct and can also be used traditionally by connecting through the USB port. The configuration of the printer means that it can be nestled amongst other equipment without being hindered, as the front panel houses all the controls and can be angled upward.
Advantages
The Epson EcoTank ET-7700 is compatible with many different paper types and sizes up to A4, including photo paper. With the five ink colours, which include photo black, this device is capable of producing crisp images. Software is included as part of the package in the form of Epson Easy Photo Print and Epson Print CD. Along with these and the supported apps, it is possible to create impressive photos and use them for other purposes, such as greeting cards.
Disadvantages
The Epson ET-7700 does not come with a USB cord to make a direct connection between the printer and a PC. This printer is not the smallest that can be found on the market and at 8 kg, it is also heavier than others. Because of this, it may not be suitable for those who only have a small space in which to place the printer.
