A technical printer that combines speed and accuracy, the SureColor Epson SC-T3100N model can also help to lower printing costs. It is an ideal solution for engineers, students or architects who regularly create detailed blueprints, but it could also be used in an advertising studio where test posters are printed. Capable of producing images in great detail up to 24 inches across, it also supports swift paper changes to minimise downtime. Finished in white with a fold-up interface, this unit is the desktop version of its series.

Design

The Epson SureColor SC-T3100N large format printer weighs 38kg and measures 970w‎ x 505d x 230h mm. It is compatible with Apple AirPrint and capable of wireless printing from a smart gadget, so a team can work together on projects and get them created as quickly as possible. The ultra-pigmented inks used in the unit are water resistant and will not smudge or run. From long-format printer rolls to sheet feed, this printer can be changed between formats in seconds, and it also manages A1-size cut sheets. In a busy workspace, this reduces the time that an operator has to spend loading and reloading the machine between jobs.

Advantages

Developed to produce highly accurate professional drawings, the SC-T3100N Epson SureColor printer model has Unique Nozzle Verification Technology, which ensures that misprints are rarely a problem. Paper with a thickness of between 0.05mm and 0.27mm can be used. This model has the smallest footprint in Epson’s technical printer range and is designed to blend in with every office space. To increase its output capacity, 1GB of onboard memory is included. When first started up, the time to print for a colour copy or a monochrome copy is 34 seconds.

Disadvantages

Although the Epson SC-T3100N SureColor machine does support separate scanners, it cannot scan materials.
