HP Designjet Z6dr 44-in PostScript Ink Cartridges

Design

This is a large printer measuring more than 180cm across. A stand, complete with casters, is part of the unit, which allows moving the printer around more easily. The HP Z6dr PostScript DesignJet inkjet printer is designed to take rolls of paper to undertake large-scale printing more easily. A horizontal and vertical trimmer is part of the unit to give clean, neat edges to all printing. Connectivity options include Ethernet and USB.

Advantages

The PostScript HP DesignJet series printer model features an internal storage of 500GB, and this is self-encrypting for additional security. There is an excellent print quality of up to 2400 x 1200 dpi. The six print cartridges are cyan, magenta, yellow, photo black, matte black and chromatic red for sharp images and excellent print quality. Software that comes with the printer includes the HP Applications Centre, HP Click, HP PrintOS and HP DesignJet Utility, allowing for easy use of all the printer’s functions. Print media ranges from standard thickness paper to canvas and other materials – ideal for banner printing.

Disadvantages

As a non-standard office printer, there are no other functions in the DesignJet Z6dr HP printer, such as copying and scanning. The large size might make this inconvenient for a home office. There is no Wi-Fi connectivity, which could be an issue in a large busy office.
