Our Verdict:
The multifunctional HP Officejet 6318 is a printer, scanner, copier, and fax machine in one. It has a duty cycle of 3000 pages per month, uses thermal ink jet method, and supports Ethernet networking. It also has convenient USB port and memory card reader. The printer can be noisy, though, making it unsuitable for small working environments.
Design
The HP Officejet 6318 is essentially a thermal ink jet printer with a flatbed scanner and a fax machine. It has a document feeder tray with a capacity of 35 sheets along with an input tray with a capacity of 100 sheets. The control panel features easy-to-use buttons and a 2-liner display plus a numeric keypad for the fax.
Advantages
There is no need to transfer files from the camera to the computer, as the HP Officejet 6318 has a USB port plus memory card readers. This printer is suitable for shared workgroups as it offers networking via Ethernet connection.
Disadvantages
Unlike other printers, the HP Officejet 6318 still uses cables, making networking messy. This printer is only available in China and India.
