If you are looking for an all-in-one printer capable of printing, faxing, copying and scanning at lightening-quick speeds, then the HP Officejet 6500A is the one for you. The 6500A e-All-in-One is marketed towards small home offices and home users that want a low-cost multifunction printer without having to break the bank.

Design

The HP Officejet 6500A e-All-in-one isn't the smallest device on the market - 476mm (W) x 409mm(D) x 258mm(H) - which may be of concern for those of you who are struggling for space. The printers gloss black finish looks great and its display screen is easy to navigate. The printer comes with a 250 sheet input tray and a 50 sheet automatic document feed (ADF) for super quick scanning.

Advantages

Considering it's price tag, the HP Officejet 6500A e-All-in-one is packed full of features. Not only does it churn out 32ppm for black and 31ppm for colour but it also comes with an ADF – ideal if you want to scan large documents in a hurry. Connectivity is another real bonus, the Officejet 6500A not only comes with USB, WiFi, and Ethernet, but it's also connected to HP's ePrint service which allows you to connect to your printer via email or your mobile phone – regardless of where you are in the world!

Disadvantages

Unfortunately, the HP Officejet 6500A e-All-in-one is let down by its output quality. Prints appear faded and lack clarity, whilst the scanner failed to produce high-resolution reproductions. If you're looking for speed over quality then the Officejet 6500A is a must-have, especially when you consider its price tag.
