Designed for professionals in a small or home office setting, the HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One is a versatile multifunction machine with built-in fax, scan, and copy functions, plus full web support. It's fast, secure, and easy to operate, but it lacks expansions for the memory and paper capacity, and it does not support direct printing from cameras and memory cards.

Design

A boxy and robust build makes the HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One stand out. It weighs approximately 13kg and measures 19.7 inches wide, 12.4 inches tall, and 18.5 inches deep with the output tray extended and the duplexer installed. The control panel is mainly a 4.3-inch CGD touch screen. Media handling is via the 50-sheet automatic document feeder, the 250-sheet input tray, and the 150-sheet output tray. The device runs on 128MB of memory, with printer management solutions like an embedded web server and HP Web Jetadmin. The Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One is network-ready with built-in Ethernet and Wi-Fi. The other connectivity options are two RJ-11 ports, a host USB port, and USB 2.0.

Advantages

The HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-AIO produces laser-sharp monochrome documents and colour images on a wide range of media types. It is easy to use with a touch-screen, mobile printing capabilities, and touch-to-print NFC technology. Users can easily scan and manage documents on-board. The ADF and CopySmart feature help save time. Duplexing, borderless printing, and colour fax are standard in the HP Officejet Pro 8620.

Disadvantages

There are no memory card slots and PictBridge support in the HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One. The memory is not expandable. The absence of an automatic paper sensor can make it difficult to set-up the HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One when printing on specialty media like envelopes, index cards, and labels.
