  • The black ink cartridge number in my printer is 337. Are your 339 cartridges the same?

    Photosmart 2575 black ink cartridges

The HP 339 is a high capacity black ink cartridge that contains more ink than the standard capacity black HP 337 ink cartridge. Both cartridges are suitable for use within your printer 'HP Photosmart 2575'. Please buy either cartridge for this model depending on how much ink you require.

  • I have put an HP 344 tri-colour cartridge into my printer and I keep getting a message telling me that the cartridge inserted is not intended for this printer. The black cartridge I already have is a genuine number HP 94 ink cartridge....can you help?

    Printer rejecting HP cartridge

We do recommend the HP 344 cartridge for this printer, however the HP 344 is a UK cartridge and is only designed to work in printers which have been purchased within the UK. The HP 94 black cartridge is not a UK cartridge, so it does appear that your printer is set to a different region code and will not be able to accept UK cartridges. For more information about this, please see the link below to HP's website:

  • Why are there two different prices for a black and colour set of HP 2575 printer cartridges?

    Photosmart 2575 ink prices

The variations on price will be due to the type of cartridges or the capacity of the cartridges. For instance, a pack of genuine HP inks will cost more than a set of premium brand recycled inks. Also, a pack of high capacity inks will cost more than a set of standard capacity inks.

  • How do I add the HP C8767EE and C9363EE ink cartridges to my basket? I do not see an "Add to basket" button?

How do I order Photosmart 2575 inks online?

The "Add to Basket" icon is the blue button shown on the right-hand side of each product listed on the website.

  • I have an HP Photosmart 2575 printer. It takes 339 black cartridges and 343 colour cartridges. Do you do a combination of both cartridges and please can you give me a price?

Photosmart 2575 ink packs and prices

Unfortunately, we don't have a pack for every combination of cartridges so if you wanted to purchase the HP 339 and HP 343 cartridges you would have to buy them individually or look for a pack which contains one of the cartridges and use a different capacity for the other colour.

  • Hello, the current code on the cartridge I have is 5740 / 6540. Which one is the correct code, as I can't see this code in any of your listings?

    Photosmart 2575 black ink codes

Unfortunately, we don't recognise the code numbers you've provided. The genuine ink cartridge numbers for black cartridges used in a HP Photosmart 2575 printer that was purchased within the UK are HP 336, HP 337, HP 338 or HP 339. It's possible that the cartridge you're currently using is a non-HP cartridge and the product code only applies to the retailer from whom you purchased the cartridge. Some compatible HP Photosmart 2575 black ink cartridges sold by other retailers can have different product codes which won't apply on our website or be used by Hewlett Packard. We aim to simplify this by referring to compatible cartridges as "Premium brand" cartridges and using the same cartridge numbers as those used by HP to indicate which number they replace.

  • I have an HP 2575 printer. Is HP 93 tri colour ink compatible? The shop where I bought it wasn't sure. Thanks.

    Ink for HP Photosmart 2575

No, for an HP Photosmart 2575 printer that was purchased in the UK you need to use the HP 336, HP 337, HP 338 or HP 339 black cartridges and the HP 342, HP 343 and HP 344 tri-colour cartridges, as listed on our website. We don't stock a HP 93 tri-colour cartridge as this cartridge is designed for non-UK HP Photosmart 2575 printers so we'd advise you to check that you have a UK model Photosmart 2575 printer before ordering ink from Cartridge Save. Printers that were bought in other regions of the world will require different cartridge numbers to the ones we supply.

HP Photosmart 2575 Printer Review

Expert review of the HP Photosmart 2575 printer

Our Verdict:

Part of the Photosmart range, the HP 2575 is an affordable all-in-one device that's perfect for home use. The scanner is impressive and the printer produces good quality text and colour graphic prints. It's fairly cheap to run and installation is simple. Although photo printing on the 2575 inkjet isn't the best, it's more than adequate for a home device.

The HP 2575 inkjet printer is sleek and stylish and is the perfect size to fit on any desk. The printer has memory card slots and a PictBridge port, there's also a 2" colour screen which is easy to navigate thanks to the intuitive button controls. HP have thought about everything including a scanner lid the can detach completely to accommodate larger items. The printer can also be connected to a network using the Ethernet port at the back. Replacing the HP 2575 cartridges is fairly straightforward too – simply plug and play.

Text documents are of an excellent quality, letters looked sharp regardless of font size largely thanks to the quality HP 2575 inks. Colour graphics are equally impressive and only suffer quality issues when in draft mode. HP claim the 2575 inkjet printer can reach speeds of 30 pages per minute in draft mode, which is ideal if you find you print in large volumes.

Photo printing is speedy but unfortunately lacks the same quality as some of HP's more expensive models. Colours can appear fuzzy with a distinct lack of contrast. The 2575 scanner is also problematic, taking over 20 seconds to preview a standard A4 document and over 50 seconds to capture it. Despite the speed issue the quality is reasonable and, as a home all-in-one, would suffice.
