What ink does the HP Photosmart eStation use?

The HP Photosmart eStation uses HP 364 / 364XL ink cartridges. HP 364 / 364XL ink comes in black and multicolour; the black cartridge prints 550 pages, the multicolour cartridge prints 300 pages.

The HP Photosmart eStation is a multi-function printer that can do it all – print, scan, copy and fax. The all-in-one device also comes with some fantastic features including a detachable "tablet", which acts as a touchscreen controller for the printer.

Design

If you limited for space, then the HP Photosmart eStation isn't ideal – at 449 x 457 x 247mm the printer is fairly bulky! As mentioned earlier the printer comes with a detachable controller that has WiFi access – the controller measures 17cm and allows you to browse Facebook and insert photo cards. It also has a number of printing functions such as quick forms, and WiFi set up.

Advantages

With great connectivity, the HP Photosmart eStation can even operate as a standalone device. The funky tablet allows you to connect wirelessly and download and print photos straight from Facebook or any other online media. In terms of print quality, photo output is top notch, and while text may not be as good, it is still fine for general home use.

Disadvantages

Despite the printer being marketed towards small and medium business users, the lack of Ethernet, and the small paper tray capacity (125 sheets) means that HP Photosmart eStation would not be able to handle large print loads.
