Our Verdict:

The large LCD display, repeat printing and auto numbering are some of the best features of the Brother PT-1750 electronic labelling system. It creates sharp and clear labels using an innovative laminated label technology, while the compact frame makes it easy to carry and set up anywhere, but the lack of support for barcoding makes it less efficient for more demanding users.

Design

The Brother PT-1750 labeller uses thermal transfer tape technology and it can handle 26.2-foot long tapes. The memory can handle 300 characters. There's a one-line, 15-character LCD display and a QWERTY keyboard on the P-Touch PT1750 machine. A manual cutter is built into this compact label printer, which weighs approximately 0.58Kg and measures 7.9" x 6.9" x 2.0".

Advantages

It can handle four different tape widths from 6mm to 18mm and print up to two lines of text. It's easy to edit text on the Brother PT-1750 thermal label printer. Frames text and underlines are supported, as well as horizontal and vertical printing. The Brother P-Touch PT1750 label maker comes with a 12mm black and white tape and a tape separator for easy set up. Multi-copy print can produce up to nine similar labels. The print speed of the P-Touch PT1750 printer is up to 10mm per second and the maximum resolution is 180dpi.

Disadvantages

The Brother PT-1750 electronic label printer doesn’t support database printing, auto formats, date and time stamp or barcoding. There’s no label length setting. Only one font is supported in the P-Touch 1750 labeller. Users need to purchase their own six AAA batteries and an AC adapter.
