Affordable and network-ready, the Brother DCP-7065DN is aimed at small to medium-sized offices in need of a fast, all-in-one printer. Although it is highly praised by users, it could would have been better if it had Wi-Fi, better software, direct-printing options, and colour printing features.
Design
The simple yet sleek Brother DCP-7065DN prints using black-and-white laser technology with toner cartridge and drum unit consumables. The maximum print resolution is 2400x600dpi and the maximum monthly due cycle is about 10,000 printed pages. Brother also integrated a standard 32MB memory. The 48-bit colour scanner's interpolated resolution is 19200x19200 dpi.
Advantages
The Brother DCP-7065DN has printer drivers compatible with both Mac and Windows OS. The printer's maximum speed is 27 ppm. The built-in Ethernet feature makes it easy to integrate the Brother DCP-7065DN into a network, while duplex printing helps save time and resources in the workplace. An ID copy feature is also included, which lets users copy both sides of an ID card on a single page without compromising the original size.
Disadvantages
For something that is aimed at high-volume printing, the Brother DCP-7065DN can disappointingly handle only up to 250 sheets in its standard paper tray.
