This A4 monochrome laser printer is a suitable addition to a small office that needs a fast and reliable machine for producing high quality documents. The convenient Brother HL-5340DL laser printer offers time-saving features such as automatic two-sided printing and the option to integrate a high capacity toner, but workgroups should look for other options because the Brother HL5340DL is not a network-friendly printer.

Design

This is an understated and box-shaped device with a 300MHz processor and 16MB of built-in memory. The standard ports include parallel and high-speed USB. The Brother HL-5340DL mono laser printer with automatic duplexer weighs 9.5Kg and measures 371mm wide, 246mm tall, and 384mm deep, so it doesn't require much installation space.

Advantages

The HL-5340DL is a reliable and fast monochrome document printer for the home or small office. Print speeds go up to 30ppm, with the first page ready in approximately 8.5 seconds or less. Text looks crisp in 1200x1200dpi. Two-sided printing is a standard in the Brother HL-5340DL. Lower running costs are provided by toner and power save modes. The printer driver of the Brother HL-5340DL features useful functions like watermarking, booklet printing, and N-up prints.
