The Brother L9570CDW is a colour multi-function laser printer that can print up to A4 size. With a copy, fax and scan function included, this printer can fulfil all workplace printer needs. The large paper capacity and high yield toners reduces the printer down time for increased efficiency, while security features allow the protection of sensitive information and give a greater control over printing operations in the work place. This printer will also give a boost to your green credentials, as it meets tough environmental standards such as Blue Angel and Nordic Star, and the reduced energy consumption will save money.

Design

With the dimensions 495 x 526 x 549mm, the light coloured Brother MFC-L9570CDW is a fairly compact printer. Connection is achieved via a USB or network interface or wirelessly. Apps allow it to connect directly to mobile devices. On the front of the unit is a 17.6 colour touchscreen that is used to monitor and control the printer’s operations. Printing speeds are 31 ppm, resolution is 600 dpi and the monthly duty cycle is 80,000 pages. Paper is stored in two trays, one holding 500 sheets and the other 250. This capacity can be increased with the purchase of extra paper trays.

Advantages

A wireless connection allows the Brother MFC-L9570CDW to print directly from the cloud and mobile devices, while the touch screen can connect to programs such as Google Drive and Dropbox. Operating the printer is straight forward, and with large ink and paper capacity, the down time is minimal. Energy saving features, such as automatic duplex printing, has both financial and environmental benefits.

Disadvantages

The Brother MFC-L9570CDW is fairly heavy, so it may require more than one person to set up. If extra paper trays are used, it becomes even more awkward to move. This is a business printer only, as the price makes it beyond normal household budgets.
