The Canon IR-C3520i is a multifunction colour laser beam printer with a copier and scanner incorporated. It is an ideal printer for a busy workplace that needs to print up to A3 size. The device management tools allow printing operations to be centrally managed for maximum efficiency and security. Printing quality is good, and for a professional finish, there are a number of options, including stapling and hole punching. It is possible to print from a number of different devices, including smart devices, which is ideal for many modern workplaces. However, the fax function does not come as automatic, so if this is an option that is required, it will need to be factored into the cost.
Design
The dimensions of the Canon IR-C3520i are 565mm x 707mm x 777mm, and the pale grey design fits in well with the colour schemes of most offices. It prints up to 20ppm. Print resolution is 1200 dpi. Two sheet cassettes hold up to 550 sheets each, and there is a 100-sheet multipurpose tray. The printer can be operated or the status checked using the control panel, which includes a 10.3” touch screen. Connection can be achieved from a USB, network or wirelessly.
