The Canon IR-C5051i printer is a great all-rounder for small offices and individual work spaces without sacrificing on quality and efficiency. This machine promises a much smoother workflow experience, with an integrated system that means individuals can quickly and easily manage their communications and workflow. The Canon IRC5051i can manage multiple, complicated tasks at once with print speeds of up to 51 pages per minute in both mono and colour.

Design

The Canon IR-C5051i measures roughly 762 x 619.25 x 981.20mm and weighs 120.65kg. Ideal for smaller offices and work places, the Canon IR-C5051i offers printing, fax, copy, and scanning capabilities all in one machine. The printer’s display screen is tiltable, with an 8.4-inch display and easy to use touch screen. With this display screen, even complicated tasks can be carried out with one touch and you can even change the display background to best suit your office space.

Advantages

The Canon IRC5051i is incredibly easy to use, and offers an integrated system that cannot be bettered. It also has a very high paper load and rarely ever experiences paper jams. This is a very reliable printer that produces crisp, vibrant printouts even when printing in colour and at a high rate. It also doesn’t drop its print speed below 51ppm, even when printing in colour. It has a scanning speed of 100ipm and can scan to multiple destinations at once including PDF. This is also the first printer to use a fire retardant bio plastic that meets environmental standards. It also includes a duplex feature to help the environmental cost.

Disadvantages

If you’re looking for a printer that can service a large office space then the Canon IR-C5051i probably isn’t it, but as long as you’re looking for a high quality, easy to use, integrated machine for a small to medium size office, then the Canon IR-C5051i is a great choice.
