Design

The understated and semi-industrial-looking frame stands 1082mm tall while being 700mm deep and 620mm wide. It weighs 168Kg with the colour image reader and cassette feeding unit, but could weigh up to 177Kg with other additions. The focal point of the design is the 21.3cm colour touch panel, which can be tilted for a comfortable view. The Canon IR- ADV C5250i colour laser printer is integrated with a 1.8GHz processor and runs on 2.5GB of memory with a default 320GB HDD.

Advantages

It supports cloud print, direct-from-USB or memory card printing, and automatic two-sided printing. The Canon IRC5250i prints in colour and users can save time with group and collage finishing capabilities. The 5,000 maximum paper capacity is enough for mid-volume output. The Canon IR C5250i multifunction printer is notably fast, too, with colour prints ready in 45ppm and monochrome prints in 50ppm. It is easy to configure and operate the device because of the intuitive and tiltable touch panel. A full range of security features is available with the printer.

Disadvantages

Upgrading this already expensive device can be a hassle for the budget. Barcode printing, the in-house publishing kit, and EFI-fiery based controller are optional for the Canon IR-C5250i office printer. It could be better if it had built-in device HDD data encryption, fax, encrypted printing, watermarking, and document scan lock features. The Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5250i is not the best printer for graphics and photos.
