This fast and reliable Canon IRC5045i office colour printer offers more intelligent means to handle and produce documents for medium-sized businesses. The Canon ImageRUNNER ADVANCE IR-C5045i printer is an improved version of a predecessor and it lets users scan, fax, and copy without compromising security, productivity, and the budget, but the IRC5045i MFP can be expensive to purchase and pricey to upgrade.

Design

An understated but universal build makes the Canon IRC-5045i office colour printer comfortable to use. The paper cassettes are loaded at the front, while the control panel serves as the focal point of the machine because of the 8.4-inch colour TFT screen, which can be tilted for a comfortable viewing angle. The flatbed scanner on top of the ImageRUNNER ADVANCE C5045i has an ADF with a duplexer. The IR-C5045i colour printer uses four separate Canon C-EXV28 toner cartridges.

Advantages

Productivity is increased because speeds go up to 45ppm. The device can be shared by multiple users via wired network. The Canon IRC-5045i colour copier produces good text quality in either colour or black-and-white. Users can easily collate and manage their documents with efficient finishing options. The scanner of the Canon IRC-5045i printer may not produce highly detailed images because of the limited 600dpi resolution.
