The HP LaserJet Pro M501dn is a compact black and white office laser printer that benefits from excellent print speeds and a high quality performance. This is an energy efficient printer that has quick start capabilities. The security features of the M501dn help to protect it from threats. The printer has a maximum sheet capacity of 1,200 and benefits from an automatic two-sided feature that saves time and paper. It can print at speeds of up to 45 ppm when using the standard A4 function and the M501dn produces bold blacks, sharp text and high quality graphics every time.

Design

The HP LaserJet Pro M501dn is exceptionally quiet when in use and the compact size has been developed to fit into small spaces, making it ideal for business use. The innovative design of this printer and the advanced toner technology that it uses means it has an extremely low energy usage. The optional USB drive allows PIN-protected printing to provide extra security for confidential documents. It has remote printer management features to enable you to manage and monitor the status from a distance.

Advantages

The very efficient sleep mode on the HP LaserJet Pro M501dn means that users never have to wait for it to warm up and the first page can be printed in just 7.3 seconds. With this printer, even two-sided documents can be printed quickly and when using A5 paper it can produce up to 65 pages a minute. When the HP LaserJet Pro M501dn is purchased it can be used straight away, thanks to the pre-installed cartridge. Low cost replacement cartridges can easily be installed when required.

Disadvantages

This printer produces black and white documents only and has a maximum number of 15 users. It can only be connected to PCs using the built-in Ethernet port.
