The Kyocera ECOSYS P5026cdw is an all-in-one colour laser printer with the ability to print, copy, scan and fax. With a compact size, it is easy to place, even when space is limited, and the short warm-up time increases office efficiency. It will print documents and graphics to a professional standard from PCs, laptops and smart devices, making it a good option for small businesses or home offices where multiple devices are used. However, if any finishing techniques are needed, such as stapling or hole punching, these will need to be done separately.

Design

The size of the Kyocera P5026cdw is 410mm x 410mm x 329mm, and it comes in a grey design that will fit unobtrusively in most offices. The printer’s status can be checked and navigated using the control panel and a two-line LCD backlit display screen. The input tray holds 250 sheets and the output 150. In addition, there is a 50-sheet multipurpose tray. Printing speed is 26ppm in both mono and colour, and the resolution is 1200 dpi. The monthly duty cycle is 50,000 pages. Connection is achieved via a USB, network or wirelessly from a variety of devices.

Advantages

The Kyocera ECOSYS P5026cdw has an easy setup and is economical to run thanks to the high-yield toners. With recyclable cartridges, the option of an energy-saving quiet mode and automatic duplex printing, the machine reduces both waste and energy costs, with both economic and environmental benefits. When space is limited, the compact size of the printer allows it to be easily placed. It prints to a high standard with smudge-free text and true-to-life colours.

Disadvantages

There is no finishing option, so stapling and hole punching will need to be done by hand. With just one paper tray, the Kyocera P5026cdw will need to be refilled fairly frequently, causing printer downtime unless an additional tray is purchased.
