The Kyocera ECOSYS P6230cdn is a great choice for a smaller office. This printer has a range of security features and offers good print speeds that will help to keep things running smoothly. The eco-friendly features of this printer will help any business to keep its carbon footprint down and the high print resolution ensures good quality prints time after time. Everything needed to get started is included with this printer.

Design

This unit offers SSL secure printing and there is also an option for PIN printing, ensuring that documents are as secure as possible. Connectivity brings a number of different options including Wi-Fi, USB and network. Duplex printing is automatic on the Kyocera P6230cdn ECOSYS and it features a multipurpose tray that holds 100 sheets and a paper tray that holds up to 500 sheets. The cartridges designed for this printer will produce up to 8000 printed sheets before they need to be replaced.

Advantages

Print speeds are one of the main advantages of the ECOSYS P6230cdn Kyocera. It can produce up to 30 ppm both in colour and black and white. The fast print time also means that you only have to wait for around seven seconds to get the first page. Other models in the ECOSYS range are relatively large, but this one weighs less than 30 kg, so it is possible for one person to move this printer if it is needed.

Disadvantages

This is an A4 printer model that may be adequate for a small or home office, but for those who want more flexibility this may not be the right model. It is not a multifunction printer, so other machines are needed for copying and scanning. A small office that needs its printer to do more will find that other models in the range will meet their requirements.
