The ECOSYS P6235cdn Kyocera is a small standard printer and while the lack of multi-functionality might be off-putting for many businesses, it is a reliable colour printer that will deal with most printing needs although it may not have the flexibility required by some busy workplaces. However, it can handle different print media and it has relatively low running costs, so businesses on a tight budget will find this printer to be useful.

Design

This Kyocera printer model is compatible with both Windows and Mac systems and can be connected to a printer via USB or via a network cable. The dimensions of the printer are 39x53.2x40.95 cm and it features an LCD display of five lines. The printer has been designed with an input capacity of 500 sheets and has 1 GB of memory for storing print jobs that have not yet been released. The multipurpose tray will hold 100 sheets.

Advantages

It takes just 6.5 seconds for the Kyocera P6235cdn ECOSYS to print the first page of any print job and average print speed both in monochrome and colour is 35 ppm. You can print directly from AirPrint or Google Cloud Print if needed, and it provides a print resolution of 1200x1200 dpi, so you get good quality prints every time.

Disadvantages

The Kyocera ECOSYS P6235cdn model can only deal with paper sizes up to A4, which may not be enough for a large and busy office. The printer weighs just under 30 kg, which is quite heavy although it could be moved by one person if needed. However, it is larger than a basic printer and will require more than a corner of a desk. There is no copy or scan function on this printer, which means most offices will need other machines to do this.
