A small or medium-sized workgroup that needs a fast and efficient printer for high-volume printing can consider the Kyocera FS-C8025MFP colour laser printer. As a bonus, this colour or black and white laser printing device comes with multifunction capabilities and a good selection of features for ease of use, manageability and lower running costs. However, a small business could find the initial price of the Kyocera FS-C8025MFP laser printer distasteful for the limited budget.

Design

The Kyocera FS-C8025 multifunction printer has an all-round stylish design and is integrated with a scanner, copier and an optional fax facility. It stands out with its tall and fairly compact frame, yet it appears bulky sideways because of the installations on the left-hand side. All paper cassettes including the 500-sheet standard and 100-sheet multi-purpose trays are conveniently installed in front. The Kyocera FS-C8025MFP A3 laser printer runs on standard 1024MB of RAM, which is expandable to 2048MB. The device's main attraction is the 4.3-inch touch-screen display on the busy but organised control panel.

Advantages

The Kyocera FS-C8025MFP printer is easy to operate with the large colour touch-screen panel. It prints fast, at up to 25ppm. The FS C8025MFP colour printer can easily be integrated into a network, and users can add an optional 33.6Kbps fax feature for more convenience. The comprehensive scanner comes with intuitive features for easy document handling. High capacity Kyocera FS-C8025MFP cartridges are great for keeping costs down, while the generous 3-year warranty is more than enough to cover potential system and hardware issues. Users can directly print from a memory card or a USB flash drive with the Kyocera FSC8025 MFP. Workgroups can securely print documents.

Disadvantages

The main drawback of the Kyocera FS-C8025MFP laser printer is the high initial cost, which is too high for a small business. Weight is another issue because at 80Kg, the Kyocera FS-C8025MFP multifunction printer is difficult to move or push around alone.
