The Lexmark B2442dw is a monochrome laser printer that is designed for use in small offices, such as a home office. It has several great features, but the lack of variety of functions may mean that this printer is not suitable for those who want their printer to do everything. It is compatible with a range of different operating systems.

Design

The single-function Lexmark printer includes a two-line display to help with ease of use. It can also handle a variety of media sizes, including a range of different envelope styles and paper up to A4. Wi-Fi is an option for connectivity, making this suitable for most offices and providing more flexibility in usage. The unit measures 26cm x 39.9cm x 37.4cm, and the weight is around 14kg.

Advantages

This is a lightweight printer that is easy to move from place to place as needed. Print speeds are up to 42 pages a minute, and duplex is an important feature of this printer, as it can help to save money and paper. It is just 6.25 seconds to the first printed page, and images are always sharp, thanks to the high print resolution. High capacity cartridges are available to ensure that you can produce thousands of printed pages when needed when using the B2442dw Lexmark printer.

Disadvantages

The paper feed tray may be disappointing for those who are used to more storage space. The tray holds just 150 sheets, although the multipurpose feeder does hold 100 sheets, which is fairly standard.
