The Lexmark CS310N is a network-ready colour laser printer designed for small workgroups. High-speed printing, excellent colour reproduction, and lower running costs are among the best features of this boxy unit. However, the Lexmark CS310N colour laser printer can be a disappointment in busier environments with its limited expandability options and absence of some important features.

Design

This understated-looking device measures 16 inches deep, 17.4 inches wide, and 11.5 inches tall, so it can easily fit on a standard desktop. Its focal point is the small control panel with a two-line, 16-character backlit APA LCD screen. The Lexmark CS310N colour printer uses laser print technology with a maximum 4800dpi colour resolution. It runs on an 800MHz dual core processor and 256MB of memory, while the main connectivity options include Ethernet and high-speed USB 2.0.

Advantages

The Lexmark CS310N laser printer can print at up to 25ppm in either colour or monochrome. Output is reproduced accurately because of the advanced colour technologies integrated by Lexmark into the device. Duplex printing and Ethernet are built-in features. The memory can be upgraded to 1304MB, while the paper capacity of the Lexmark CS310N can be expanded to 901 sheets.
