The Lexmark MX310dnw is a mono multi-function laser printer with the facility to print, scan, copy and fax. It is an inexpensive option that produces good results in black text and graphics. It will suit a home or small business that needs to print regularly from multiple devices and also needs the option to scan, fax or copy. The cheap running costs will also be beneficial to a family or small business. However, before buying this machine, it is important to consider all printing needs. If it is necessary to print in colour, either now or in the future, this could be problematic and may necessitate the purchase of a further device.

Design

The size of the Lexmark MX310dnw is 399mm x 472mm x 468mm. The machine is in a classic grey colour, which fits in with most household and office décor. The printer’s status and options are shown on a colour display screen. It has a fast printing speed of 33 ppm and a monthly duty cycle of 50,000 pages. Printing has a resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. Connection is via a USB, network or Wi-Fi. The paper tray stores 250 sheets, while the output bin stores 150 prints.

Advantages

The printer is reliable and easy to use. It prints from mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
