With the OKI C824 on side, you’ll always be able to achieve your printing goals. It comes with plenty of advantages like a high input capacity and a relatively small weight overall. However, the OKI C824 is problematic when it comes to print resolution and overall warm-up time.

Design

There are lots of positive design features integrated into the OKI C824. It comes with a time to first print out of 8.5 seconds relative to the start-up time, which means you won’t have to spend time waiting for the device to get ready to load. The printer also has an input capacity of 300 sheets, and it has an A4 print speed of 26 ppm in both colour and monochrome. It provides a wide range of connectivity options, including USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, and optional wireless. It is equipped with 1 GB of RAM.

Advantages

The OKI C824 has all of these benefits, but with a weight of around 37 kg, so there’s no need to worry about the device being extremely large. It offers a noise level of well under 60 decibels, and its duty cycle of 50,000 pages per month is high compared to other devices in its class. It also has full integration with several operating systems, including recent ones such as Windows 10.

Disadvantages

However, there are some disadvantages to the OKI C824 which any potential buyer ought to take into consideration. Its printing resolution isn’t nearly as high as others on the market, and its 600 x 600 dpi rating is almost half of what many other printers can offer. While the time to first print is low, the overall warm-up period of 20 seconds from turning on the power may leave some users feeling frustrated.
