Aimed at busy and fast-paced workplaces, the Ricoh Aficio MPC3002 digital full colour multifunction printer is a versatile and user-friendly multifunction product that delivers full-colour performance and solutions that can help streamline the workflow. The robust machine is notable for its security features, finishing capabilities, and environmentally friendly performance, but it can be expensive to purchase and upgrade.

Design

At 120Kg, the Ricoh Aficio MPC3002 colour copier is a heavyweight with a low-key design. Its most distinctive feature is the tech-savvy 8.5-inch control panel, while the rest of the 670mm wide, 880mm tall, and 682mm deep frame follows a universal appearance. The Aficio MPC3002 colour multifunction printer is powered by an Intel Celeron-M 600MHz processor running on 1.5GB of RAM with a 190GB hard disk drive. The capacity of the Ricoh MPC3002 black cartridge is 28,000 pages and each of the colour cartridges can print up to 18,000 copies.

Advantages

On-board operation is easy with a tiltable full colour control panel with a customisable home screen and MFP browser with cloud solutions. The maximum paper capacity of the Ricoh Aficio MPC3002 colour MFP is upgradeable to 4,400 sheets. The toner cartridges are fast and easy to replace. Professional finishing options like folded booklets, saddle stitch and hole punch simplify tasks. A built-in document server makes it easy to retrieve or store documents. The Ricoh Aficio MPC3002 is easy to manage, comes with a built-in duplexer, prints crisp and sharp documents at up to 30ppm, and scans directly to email and USB flash drives or SD cards. Its built-in security features are HDD encryption, data overwrite, encryption, and user authentication.

Disadvantages

The copy resolution of the Ricoh Aficio MPC3002 colour laser printer is limited to 600dpi. This is a bulky and heavy machine with a high initial price. Upgrading the Ricoh MP C3002 printer with an optional fax machine and additional security features like data overwrite security system and copy data security are can be expensive. Paper support is limited.
