The Ricoh SP C240DN is a reasonable choice for a small office workgroup. Standard features like duplex printing and network connectivity meet the needs of most offices. Enjoy added features like the ability to print directly from a camera. The Ricoh SPC240DN is compactly designed to save space. For an energy efficient, dependable, and space-saving piece of equipment that boasts environmental friendliness, this colour laser printer will suit your needs. On the downside, the display is the least attractive feature on the printer. When looking for easily accessed advanced functions on a high-quality display, this might not be ideal. It is also not the quickest printer.

Design

The modern design of the Ricoh SPC240DN involves a charcoal grey coloured exterior wrapped around the top and sides of a white body. The Ricoh SP C240DN is relatively small and cube-shaped, so it would fit well in a small office. It measures about 400 x 450 x 320 mm. It is sturdy and weighs around 24 kg.

Advantages

The Ricoh SP C240DN only takes seconds to warm up and to produce the first print. Maximum print resolution is very good at around 1200 dpi. With a duty cycle of about 30,000 pages per month on average, this printer is built for a small office group. Low power consumption, duplex printing, and short warm-up times make this printer environmentally friendly. The Ricoh SP C240DN prints full colour in addition to black and white.

Disadvantages

Unfortunately, printing speed is not very quick at only about 21 ppm for both colour and monochrome. The green backlit display is not as sleek and stylish as large colour displays. While this screen displays pertinent information, like ink levels and power on/off, it appears less approachable. It might prove more challenging for an office setting where advanced functions and approachable interfaces are key to productivity.
